15th January 2006 ~ And you smiled because you knew

Alas..it was a disappointing Saturday. Because of the rain, the parade was cancelled and in its place was a mini ceremony that lasted 10 minutes. How could we celebrate our 40th anniversery that way? At least I got to see many old boys from previous batches.

CCA Maze

It was rather bad in the sense that quite a few people got kicked out of the drill team but at least I did not. Overall I still think the recruitment this year would be at least 35. Someone in the drill team dropped his rifle (OH NO) but he is still squadmate after all so we will share the punishment with him.

Weekend

After the CCA maze, my oh so dear parents fetched me home for lunch. Great parents are so hard get nowadays so I got to treasure them. Bored, I decided to watch a 6.15pm movie ( Death Note 2 ) at Vivocity. I met CI Andrew, Rapheal and Sir Yao Jie on the way to Vivocity, how lucky I can get. Shopped around Vivocity for about 1 hour+ before buying nachos and proceeding to the theatre. The movie is awesome, I mean although its different from the manga but i assure you it is better. ( Light still died anyway)

Woke up on Monday to find myself having the blues and I tried persuading my parents that I was sick but to no avail. By the way, my school is starting detention classes this year. I got caught by my form teacher just i wore ankle length socks. I got to know what is wrong with wearing ankle length socks! I can understand why long hair, tucked out shirt, baggy pants, smoking, bringing handphones etc etc are not allowed but why ankle length socks are not allowed? Its not untidy and no one is going to steal socks so why the school does not allow ankle length socks. Anyone know a reason for not allowing ankle length socks please tell me the reason. Monday's assembly was about blogging; how to be a good blogger and how not to be a bad blogger. The speaker actually told us that we can do anything including sleeping except talking, apparently Mr Kwok was pissed and asked him why. He said in other schools he went to the only way for them to keep silent was sleeping. Mr Kwok replied saying that Maris Stella High School is not just any school. Honestly, I do feel insulted by what that speaker said because we have the ability to respect any speaker by keeping quiet.

We were planning to go to the army market to buy some NPCC stuff but to my dismay there was some kind of seminar for the class commitee until 3.30pm. This was fucked up, we went there realising that we were to play some kind of board game. We could leave after we complete the game. The game was locally made and we were to learn how to manage money by playing the game. The game will NEVER make us learn about money management, instead it will piss everyone off and everybody will feel sorry for themselves. I would prefer a classic "teacher shows power point and student jots down notes" thing rather than playing some lame board game.

After school today Shawn, Justin and I went to the S.P.C.A (Out of boredom). I was looking at some of the dogs before realising there was cameras aiming at me. They seemed to be some kind of television crew so I may be on television soon, look out for me.

Other than those there really nothing else special. I decided to post some of the pictures I took with my 2.0 megapixel camera phone. Those pictures are also took out of boredom. Enjoy.
