Since its Christmas, we should go do something special..

Yeah, I did something special today. Welcome to the jungle. I went with my family to macritchie today. My mum and dad wanted to lose weight by jogging (I simply tagged along because I didn't want to ruin the festive mood by being a soggy blanket). Initially I decided just to take a stroll with my dog while listening to some music but I found that boring soon after. I heard from my mum that there was some tree top thingy so I decided to go jog up there. I chionged up there. I ran past gurkas, country clubs, mud, monkeys and mud. I ran for almost a distance of 5km. At first I didn't find it strange that no one was going up together with me but there were only people travelling down. I continued running until it was getting dark. I knew that the forest would get super dark at night because there ain't lights around and the trees practically covers any potential sources of light but the signs mentioned that there was a carpark at where the tree top walk thing so that means there will be roads and my dad could pick me up there. When I finally reached the damn place, I felt so fucked to know that the damn thing closes at 5pm. There were no other exit except to head downwards again. That was around 6pm.

I went to the ranger's office to ask for alternative exits. There was one route down back to macritchie but its 5.5 km away. When I started embarking on that route, I could hardly see my hands already. I was completely alone at that time. Luckily I have my ipod with me to keep me distracted from the sounds of the nature. To be frank, I was really scared. Nevertheless I embarked on my journey back to civilisation. Not even half the journey was completed, I already can't see my hands. It was complete darkness. Again, luckily I have my handphone with me. Oh ya I tried to call for advice from my parents but I can't seem to get through. I called Shawn (Dunno why I called him, maybe its because of the corny messages he sent me yesterday). He told me "GG". That was encouraging =) Anyway, I continued walking with the help of my handphone light. On my way, I thought I saw a female ghost. I'm dead serious here. I freaked out and stood there frozen. Anyway, it turned out to be a tissue mascot promoting environment conservation. That was so freakish. I ended up at some main road. That moment was so relieving so though I finally pee-ed after 50 years of high tide. I called my parents and they picked me from there. That was at around 8.10 pm. Super scary experience for me.

My mum was very apologetic. My dad was really impressed with me. My sister was non-chalent. My dog was excited. I went home after that. What a fucked up christmas I had this year. First I had to deal with a fucker and now this. Thanks alot.

Feel so sian now. Have to prepare uniform. Still have some other misc stuff. bah.
