I love Chingay. I always thought Chingay was a very chinese and traditional festival. I was totally wrong. Chingay is made up of many upbeat youthful teenage girls. I like.
I went to PS at around 5 to meet Lenny. But damn it he was late. I was planning to go buy cards with him. While waiting for him, I was at some singing talent search thingy outside PS. It was like american idol auditions but outdoors. I saw some mini-celebs so yeah ^^. All the people who auditioned sounded the same to me. They all sounded pretty good to me. I can't tell the difference between the good and very good. There was 45 yr old Singaporean man who sang 'Tong Hua' and it was bloody hillarious. Every talent competition there are bound to be people who thinks that they are damn talented and ends up making a fool out of themselves. White lies are bad. Truth hurts but its always better than embarassing yourself in front of the whole world. Oh well.
Lenny was so late that Janson arrived earlier than him. We walked around PS and was playing with the idea of watching Jumper before Lenny requested that we meet him at Somerset. We had pasta for dinner at Orchard Cineleisure. We window-shopped around there for a while before meeting Alvin and his friend. We headed for Heeren to accompany Alvin for dinner at Billy Bombers. Although it was table for 5 but the only person who was eating was Alvin. Lol Lol Lol Lol. Lenny Janson and I shared a very suckish banana split that is so not worth $6.90 though. After that sumptious dinner, Alvin's friend left and the rest of us headed for City Hall to meet Mr Nick Chiam. Alright now to the main event of the whole day. The Chingay.
It was great. Seeing floats passing by. Cheering for them even though we don't even know what organisation they were from. Lenny's fetish with wanting to mosh ang mohs. Trying catch stuff that they threw from the floats. It was all awesome. Then the sad part came when we had to say goodbye to them. We had to say goodbye to the Chingay people. The Chingay people were super high though. There were groups of super-high females who were screaming affectionately at us so we kinda screamed back. Chingay = awesome parade
While heading home in MRT with Nick, his perverted and twisted mind prompted him to take a picture of a hot chick we saw in the MRT.
Okay that was Saturday.
I feel like an old man nowadays. I mean I feel tired very easily. The worse thing is I'm lazy to make coffee and I hate hot steaming coffee. Now the problem is I don't know where to find iced coffee in the middle of the night. :/
Monday was sad. =( I was moved over to the middle row. Seriously, when the people surrounding me include Kuan Git and Jun Jie, my future is really bleak. My arse hurts even thinking about it. I shall be strong. Played my last game of bingo with Alvin during maths. I forgot to sing the graduation song. bahz.
Today is a fucked up day. How is it like to have your efforts crushed up just like that. Sorry I can't help but feel angry. I lashed out and diao-ed at certain people too. Sorry for that too. (Except for Jun Jie because he gotta learn to get out of my ass). Physics was canceled today. Relieved I was because I was most likely to fall asleep during that period. Anyway, I waited a while after school for Clement before heading toward Army Market today. Damn we walked so long and we didn't even manage to buy twine. Crapp. After that we headed for Kovan's Cold Storage. Hmm at around 5, Clement was promptly dismissed. =P Tommorrow we shall go to more shops to source for more food.
I think Jerome better. No wait I think Yong Chuan better. LOL (Inside joke)
