I never knew POP was going to be so stressful. Memories of POP 2007 is going to be stuck with me for the rest of my life. The beginning was quite alright, but towards the end it was chaotic. The Sec 1s are very not diciplined. They're extremely slow in everything, but dun need to fret because NCO Jermaine is going to change them into world-class cadets. 16 and 18 May marked the day that I first pumped someone and screamed at a junior respectively. Sec 1 and 2 NPCC life was superbly boring and now as fresh NCOs, we reap the fruits of our labour. Now as I think back, it was definitely all worth it.
Clement wasn't feeling well after the parade (Guess he was too nervous). He couldn't act as L anymore and requested that I did it on his behalf. Wah I had only like 5 mins to attempt to memorise all his lines. It was terrible! When I saw Leslie's plan, I was certain that all will go well. When I got on stage, my mind went completely blank. I stared at Yeh Xiang and he stared at my blankly. It was super awkward and I just blabbered out whatever came to my mind. Yeh Xiang seemed shocked and was uncertain of what to say. Scene 1 was horrible; no one could hear us (we were without mikes) and we screwed up our lines. Sec 1s' performance was terrible! Most of them were like hiding at the back of each other and reluctant to sing. Damn! Mr Koh didn't want the curtains to be lowered anymore. Damn! That means those who died have to stand up and walk to backstage. Damn! Damn! Damn!
When the whole act was over, I felt really terrible. I felt that I screwed the whole show by forgetting lines and stuff. I screwed up again. I felt even worse when Leslie came and patted me on the back and saying ' Good job'. I was hoping that Mr Koh would not punish the POP committee because they didn't deserve it. Leslie spent so much effort in planning the whole event and Gen Yang also spent alot of effort making sure that POP was running smooth. Yah lucky in the end he didn't. While everyone was watching the show, they didn't know how stressful and intensive the atmosphere was at backstage. I thought we were so screwed. Close one.
Went to relieve stress on Saturday. I accidentally made that f*cker Lenny wait for 1.5 hrs ( and so he claims). Went to look at skateboards and wah he took so bloody long. He took so long choosing the board, took his time one by one looking at all the boards. He came to a conclusion that the design of the board isn't important as it'll wear out -.- and after spending so much time there he didn't buy the stinking board. F*cker.
Met up with Shawn and we went SubWay for dinner. The counter guy had tis weird accent that made him sound like there was something stuck under his tongue. Anyway, I just had a hard time ordering. We went to Marina Square's arcade before going for bowling! We played two games and Lenny topped one and I topped the other one. Shawn was last all the way -.- . I was playing noobish bowling cuz I just kinda drop the ball instead of like swing-and-roll thingy. Lenny was playing attitude bowling cuz he did a swing-and-throw thingy. Just imagine throwing a bowling ball into the air and waiting for it to slam onto the floor. Headed to Suntec's arcade before going home.
Manchester lost to Chelsea. Bah what the hell! Chelsea were plain LUCKY when they scored a near last-minute goal. Manchester definitely deserve it more then them. We'll show to them next season when we do a treble.
