There was some sort of class dinner thingy at Punggol. I didn't manage to go because I was working OT for my Dad. Initially I was like quite sad because I thought the guys were going for steamboat. I love steamboats especially when eaten together with a big group. Turns out they went for TZI CHAR instead.
Okay off topic here for a moment. I'm so glad I'm working for my Dad now. I know hes glad too because he gets to spend a whole lot of time with me. I'm glad too because I too, get to spend time with him. We get to talk stuff that can only be discussed in the absence of my mum and sis. Thats fun! Hes still a little sore about me buying guitar hero but thanks to the many hours I get to spend with him everyday, I managed to convince him that its actually a good idea. About my work - I do hard labour work, packing, call customers to arrange appointments, print stuff, fax stuff, schdule stuff and I even fixed up his internet. woot.
Okay after work on the 31st, I met up with Neo Teo and Goh. The initial 15 mins with them was stupid. All I have to say is 'HAHA I didn't follow you guys into the deserted HDB block! I got watch Crime Watch one okay! I know what would happen if I'm alone with you guys! Luckily I got common sense!
haha. Turns out I missed out the Rui En thingy at the Countdown party. I also missed out seeing Leslie going gaga over her.
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
"Hey Rui En DAMN chio leh!"
Okay thats like 10 times right? I wanted to copy that line 1000 times but stopped at 10 because I was afraid my computer might hang. Imagine someone repeat that line in front of you 1000 times. Like again and again. Definitely, that familar feeling of pleaseshutupalreadyigetit would be felt once again. The way he says it was so super convincing. Its like he repeats "Hey paper clips are made of paper" 1000 times. I think I might actually go to wikipedia and do a search on paper clips to verify. That convincing. haha.

Ahaha! This is so typical Log and Chair back in the days.

Leslie finally agrees to 配合 Clement.

Sian why Fiona Xie never come. Everybody go Marina there for what siol.

I want to cry already! Why Jonathan and Taufik haven come yet!!

Threesome.

okay we suck. We ran of ideas for photos. No creativity right?

Cheapskate poppers. The VIPs had larger cannon-like poppers!

2008 coming to an end YEAH!!

I always wanted to pinch his cheeks but I'm like very afraid something bad might happen to me.
Okay this part is so uber cool and awesome. We had fireworks fire off right in front of us. We were so close to the fireworks. Felt awesome. Looked awesome. What way to end off 2008 and start 2009.

Fireworks!! WOO HOO

Teo looks insane. haha

marist brothers. together forever.

gay shot. haha. luckily I took it and was not in it.

This is definitely a new one. 2009!

2009!

I think this was during one of Taufik performance. Doesn't look good eh? Just look at Clement. lol

Want me to look at Rui En right? 我就是不要看! I poke my own eyes arh!

Who wants a kiss from Taufik!

This picture was taken 5 long hours after the 'Who wants a kiss from Taufik?' picture. One picture away but so much happened in between.
Let me tell you. You don't what we have been through. Omg, we should write a book about this incident.
Okay after the countdown. Clement went home while we headed for the MRT. We got slightly lost in the dark on our way to MRT station. I told Teo and Goh about my sad and unfortunate incident at Macritchie to make them feel thankful. Do you know what? We actually played scissors paper stone to decide whether to take the LRT or walk. Somehow we decided to walk. Anyway we reached the MRT eventually at around 2.20am. The last train was at 2am.
Three of us were stuck there without a ride home. Everybody was like ohshitting for like 5 mins before we calmed down and decided on whats next. We finally decided to walk back to my place. Leslie was worried about how his Dad was react in the morning. I was worried whether we would make it back in one piece. Shawn was worried about his tummy and bought two packs of kaya buns for rations. o.O
We walked in many many circles before giving up trying to navigate the way by ourselves. Screwed up feeling when you realise your displacement is zero.
We decided to seek the police for assistance. Police weren't exactly helpful at all.
Police: Why don't you take a cab. This kind of money aren't worth saving.
Me(what I wanted to say): Can you give us some money for cab? We're broke.
Police: You walk straight. Turn left. You will see a church. Turn right and go..."
Me: You guys have police cars right? You guys look so free why not just give us a lift back home?
In the end, we didn't actually followed their direction because Leslie suddenly realised his way back to Kovan. Me and Shawn trusted Leslie because he sounded so confident. Sadly, we walked in a big circle and ended up in front of the police station once again. double screwed up feeling was even more horrible.
Feeling quite unsatisfied with ourselves we made our way to a petrol kiosk to stock up on "rations" because at that time we didn't know how long would our journey really last. haha stupid. We almost wanted to buy street directory but it costs like $14.50 and we figured we might as well take a cab. We decided to seek help from a taxi driver outside the kiosk.
Quite dumb right? You ask directions from a taxi driver. I don't know about you guys but I feel its like asking Mcdonalds how to make a Big Mac for free. Anyway, fortunately the kind driver gave us directions. This time we decided to stick to the driver's directions and not to depend on Leslie's instinct.
After that is was just all walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and talk and talk and talk and talk and walk and talk and walk and talk. Thats it. Talked a whole load of crap. We gossiped like ah lians too!
: That person damn that one right? how can he become that type of person? so that one lor!
:Really meh? Don't anyhow say hor! Omg I can't believe that he is so that one lor.
haha fun it was. After what seemed to be an eternity of walking talking and gossiping we finally caught sight of Hougang. Our legs were like totally busted then so we decided Kovan was impossible. We took 5 hours to reach Hougang. According to Leslie, it would have taken us 5 mins if we travelled in a car. Triple screwed up feeling!

We waited at MACs for MRT. Exhausting siol.

Hungry siol!

Thank God my legs didn't crumble on the way.

still very hungry siol

lol. In this picture you can clearly see Leslie mouthing the word "Rui" and I immediately knew what he was about to say. Before he could finish his sentence I slapped him across his face desperately trying to once and for all drill into his head that we all get it.
okay joking. If i actually did that, I would be like bashed up into a pulp. I would just die without knowing my O level results. That is not I was hoping for. Sorry for disappointing anyone but I really did not slap Leslie across his face. Imagine you slapping Lee Hsien Loong when he was a little boy. How screwed would you be now. If I slap Leslie now, I would probably be slapped with a permanent criminal record for the rest of my life. Thats bad.

so tired till you smile to yourself unknowingly

My hand was stretched out to slap Leslie.
Once again, I'm joking. I don't have the guts to do so. Haha but you can pretty much guess that I really want to slap him because of the numerous times I joked about slapping him.
Okay I'm joking again. Leslie is one of my best buddies. Why would I want to slap him? I'm so jokey today!

"Aiya we could have just stayed and rest at Sengkang and wait for the MRT there lah! We so stupid siol!"
-.-
Okay but seriously it was fun. Talking to the guys for 5 hours straight was fun. Making a fool of ourselves together was fun. Rest assured, I'll never forget what happened to us on the first day of 2009.
There you go! Now you know how I spent my first few hours of 2009. The remaining hours of the day was spent sleeping on my bed.
Sennett back! We met up on Sunday together with Shawn. He bought me a cup from Europe. Thanks Sennett! Next time we can drink hot water together! We were at my place GH-ing. Omg Sennett pwned at singing. He can sing at expert level. Never knew our average curly haired little friend could actually sing! Ended our day with pool. Meet up soon yeah?
I don't have a habit of buying souvenirs for people when I'm overseas. Seems that everyones doing it so I guess I should start too. Thanks Yee Ping, Leslie and Sennett for your souvenirs.
